**Key Responsibilities:**


- **Customer Support:** Serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues efficiently through various channels, including phone, email, and live chat. - **Data Management:** Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to accurately track customer interactions, document issues, and record resolutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company protocols. - **Research and Problem Solving:** Conduct thorough research to provide accurate and timely solutions to customer inquiries, developing a deep understanding of Auto-Owners Insurance's products and services. - **Communication:** Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear, polite, and effective communication with customers while maintaining a positive image of the company. - **Collaborative Leadership:** Work closely with team members to support escalated customer queries and act as a resource for fellow colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve customer experience continuously. - **Strategic Initiatives:** Leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes and recommend enhancements to existing workflows and services, contributing to ongoing improvements in service delivery. - **Feedback Collection:** Gather customer feedback and relay trends or recurring issues to management, helping to shape future processes and customer service strategies. - **Training Participation:** Engage in ongoing training and development initiatives to stay updated on products, policies, and industry trends, enhancing your ability to assist customers effectively.

**Qualifications:**


- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus. - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment. - **Personality Traits:** Must be resourceful, with a passion for helping others and a dedication to providing excellent service. - **Soft Skills:** In-depth research ability and leadership qualities essential for guiding customer interactions and assisting team members. - **Technical Proficiency:** Familiarity with CRM software and basic Microsoft Office applications; ability to quickly learn new technologies. - **Adaptability:** Able to thrive in a remote work environment, managing time effectively to meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality service.
